Mantrakid Has a SON!
You may have been wondering why there have been no updates, recent episodes or even live broadcasts of Creamreefer in the past couple weeks.
On March 15th, my wife (You may know her as Debbie, from the Debbie Does ____ series) went into labour. On March 16th, she gave birth to our amazing son, Kaede. This little guy rocks my world, but he also demands more from us than I ever thought possible. I am convinced that people who have kids deliberately leave out the hellishly strenuous, emotionally draining, frustratingly exhausting and generally mentally destructive  aspects of having a baby in your house 24/7. (They must be trying to drag you down with them…) It’s cute when they sleep, but that amounts to what seems like 4% of a full day.
After hearing “it gets better” over 1000 times a week, I’m not at all surprised. If it got any worse, I’d be hanging from nails by my eyelids just to get off my feet for a few minutes.
Anyways, I am putting together a pre-recorded show for this saturday, which should feature some dope music in the vein of being a new pops. Once that’s out of my system, I should be back in the booth for our regular live broadcast on Saturday April 11th.
My apologies for the absence, but I’ve gotta learn the ropes of this fatherhood thing before I leave Debbie for a full day to fend for herself. :) Talk soon, Friends!
